Update Rollups for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013

Throughout the supported lifespan of Microsoft CRM 2013 Microsoft will release updates packaged as Update Rollups. On this page we have summarised the key features of each update rollup and the relevant links to the Microsoft website.  Some of these updates cannot be uninstalled, so please do a backup before applying them.

Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1

This update makes the recent updates for the various client environments compatible with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013

Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 introduces support for the following additional products:

  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Dynamics CRM App for Android 5.0 on tablets
  • Dynamics CRM App for Apple iOS 9.0 on tablets
  • Dynamics CRM App for Windows 10 on tablets


Update Rollup 3 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1

This update fixes a number of non-critical issues.  For more details please go here.  To download this update please go here .  In this update there are components for the Outlook client, for the email router and for the language packs. 

Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1

Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1

 In this update there are components for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 server, for the Outlook client, for the email router, for the language packs and for the report server.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1

This is the "Leo" release (Spring '14 for CRM Online) for CRM 2013 and incorporates all updates in update rollup 1 and update rollup 2.  New service capabilities are added but must be manually enabled in Settings > Administration > Install Product Updates.

Please note:

  • Product updates cannot be uninstalled.
  • SP1 for the server and client cannot be uninstalled.
  • SP1 for reporting extensions can be uninstalled.
  • CRM 2013 with SP1 has its own set of update rollups -m see above on this page.

 

Update Rollup 3

This update is a server only update.  This rollup is for Microsoft CRM 2013 Server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Language Packs, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Email Router. It does not include an update for Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook.

This update is now not recomended.  Rather than apply this rollup, the advice is to move directly to service pack 1.

Update Rollup 2

Update Rollup 2 includes support for the following applications:

  • Windows 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11 using CRM 2013 web application and CRM for Tablets
  • iOS7 support with Safari on iPad using the web application
  • Support for Safari using web application
  • CRM for Tablets using the tablet app for iPad Air
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 for CRM Server
