Using Ribbon Workbench in CRM

Using Ribbon WorkbenchOnce CRM has been in use for a while, users often want to make it less ‘clicky’. Since Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 came out, the ‘clickiness’ has reduced, but further removing clicks can improve user adoption of your solution.  Ribbon Workbench is the tool to enable changes to the ribbon without having to edit the XML code directly.

At the end of this course, you have:

  • An understanding of where the CRM ribbon can be changed
  • The ability to edit, add and remove buttons on the CRM ribbon
  • The skill to give a button a more business relevant label

Participants on the ‘Using Ribbon Workbench’ course should be very comfortable with configuring CRM (equivalent to the skills gained on Configuration of CRM) and working with workflows and dialogs as achieved with the Introduction to Automation using Processes in Microsoft CRM course.
